What is Injection Moulding?

Injection moulding is a tool for producing plastic products. They are also tools that give plastic products complete structure and precise dimensions. Injection moulding is a processing method used in mass production of complex parts of certain shapes. Specifically plastic melted by heat is injected into cavity by high pressure of injection moulding machine, and after solidification by cooling, a molded article is obtained.

Application of Injection Moulding

Injection moulding is divided into thermosetting plastic mold and thermoplastic plastic mold according to molding characteristics. According to molding process, they are divided into plastic injection molds, blow molds, casting molds, thermoforming molds, hot stamping molds (compression molding mold), injection moulding etc., in which hot stamping mold is in the form of flashing and can be divided into three types: overflow type, semi-overflow type and non-overflow type. injection moulding can be divided into two types: cold runner mold and hot runner mold. It can be divided into mobile type and fixed type according to the loading and unloading mode.

In recent years, with the rapid development of plastics industry and continuous improvement of strength and precision of general and engineering plastics, the application range of plastic products is also expanding such as: household appliances, instrumentation, construction equipment, automotive industry. PROJECTION MANAGER SYSTEM, is responsible for design, mold opening, trial testing, and acceptance of entire new injection moulding, ensuring development cycle and development quality. According to customer’s development and design, the relevant process documents and process parameters are compiled to ensure that process documents conform to R&D process and related quality. Complete the smooth handover from R&D to production, provide technical support for mold design and modification of injection moulding products, propose improvement plans for trial and error, and follow up implementation.
